What did he say? Hopefully you have a new tool box. :lmao:lmao

I asked him because being the new guy, I know we've worked enough with each other where were we can joke around.

To be honest, I wouldn't want his box. Lately, I've been eyeing this 72" Montezuma tool Chest. But it won't happen at least until after I get that full-time mechanic position.

--the rapture did take place and we are all such bad people, that none of were picked up on the starting team. :coffee:lmao:lmao

It's interesting now that I think about the coincidence of it. Mrs. TG's mother had a massive stroke Saturday night, and passed Sunday morning. The call went out Sunday morning and all her kids were either there or were able to talk to her on the phone.

My wife was the last to speak to her on the phone. Grandma passed about 20 minutes later.

I have never known a kinder, more gentile person than my M.I.L.

TG, I'm so sorry to hear about this. My condolences and prayers to you and your family. I know you all will miss her greatly. May 26 is the 20th anniversary of my dad's passing, and I still wish he was around.

An interesting footnote to my mother-in-law passing away--

Certain members of my wife's family have a gift of premonition and/or a "sixth sense". Mrs. TG has it to a point. Mrs. TG correctly foresaw that our grandchild was going to be a boy and that he'd be named Cody. Mrs. TG's older sister in Nashville has it to a greater degree.

My in-laws were in Appleton, WI. At the same time Mrs. TG's mother was having her stroke, my sister-in-law in Nashville heard her mom call out her name.

Man, that's just weird. I mean Chris Angel Mindfork weird. The dude that levitates himself weird. I've heard of identical twins (seen it firsthand, actually) having this kind of supernatural bond.. Still can't get my head around it.

Lessee.. you live in Marquette... Ojibwa country... Wife is from Wisconsin, Algonquin country... both tribes famous for that... Got that big radio antenna up there the Navy uses to talk to subs, covers like the distance from Gwinn to the Soo... no, that couldn't be it. The Indians were famous for this 500 years ago... gotta have something to do with all that iron & copper ore... or the water... iron & copper ore IN the water!

Some people do have a "sixth sense". Sometimes my wife has a "funny feeling" and sometimes will tell me that "something is gonna happen". There have been times that something odd would happen to someone we know. I remember once, years ago right after we got married, that she had a weird feeling and later that day, her dad's favorite dog was killed on the highway in front of her parents' house. Could also be a "mother's instinct".
