the guy by the trailer is (was) not legally (but i called him) my partner for 4 years. that is his ranger and future lot in st. cloud. for you that don't know - that is about 70+ miles from here... he stayed in our 4th bedroom on the weekdays and traveled home for weekends. oh, and b4 we moved to this house he stayed on the living room floor in our condo on an inflat-a-matress.
as for the truck: 1991 chevy 2500 HD. bought w/ 143k on ticker. of course i had to replace everything and i mean everything..can u believe plugs were original....:eek. new plugs/wires, oil & air filters, tranny fluid, brakes (what a chore and pain that was) - ordered 3/4 ton found out it was 1 ton setup... and of coarse i had to put 'duals' on it too. it was a excavation company owners ride - hence the 'hoe' picture by gas tank. which is why i had to buy it.... the 7.5' meyer plow was in sad sad shape. bent every which way possible. the guy must have slammed into too many imovable objects.. the mold board was bent (bought new one - 8 footer) the 'A' frame was bent up (bought new one) and the pump was toast too (bought an upgraded one), oh and the hoses all new too. sold it to another guy for for (for a $$ i can't remember right now...) a few weeks after i got 'red'. it had 188+k on it when i sold it. crap-it got better mileage than i get now..man was i stupid. gee, now you know why i bought this red truck...actually thought of trying to take the sticker off and re-apply it..
and YES - that is me in the photo. so you all can now put a 'face' to your i am sure GREAT mental picture you had of me...
