Hopefully a bunch of you guys have run leveling kits on 250s. I am looking for the pros and cons of whatever kits you have used. I want to boost the front end up and at the most ad a leaf in the rear for and extra 3/4s of an inch. I am going to be using this for towing a bumper pull car hauler, and maybe down the road a fifth wheel horse trail. My next set of tires will be 315s... I am running 305s right now.

Thanks for te help.

Air bags in the rear a pretty decent for leveling. My old man has them on his SDD work truck. He loads the crap out of that thing with 200 gall of water and 100 gal of diesel in another tank, and various other parts to fill the rest of the space in the 8' box, plus towing a 7000 lb excavator behind it. They hold there own. :D

i used fabtech's front leveling kit for my 2000 f350, very nice kit, its only a shackle kit, so as long as you dont need the strength its a great kit, i dont do any snowplowing so i just went with the shackle kit, did get the dual shock option, that's pretty cool lookin also.

My add-a Leafs are Tuff Country front and rear. The front was supposed to be 2 inches and the rear was supposed to be 2 inches. The front wound up being 2.25 and the rear was 3. That wound up being perfect. The ride and stance is now like my 350. My 305s on 10 inch wheels still rub at full lock.

How do the add-a-leaf kits effect the ride? I am considering getting one. Also, will I need to get new (bigger) shocks.?
