****ALL DONE take a look *** went over budget because i decided to change the wheels and more stereo crap and got picky with the shocks etc etc...so 12.5 total cost.......
Good afternoon. I am fairly new to this board. I have wanted a big lifted Super Duty for about 10 years now and finally bought one. I dont like having car payments anymore and have always customised all my cars so instead of buying one to take appart to repaint etc anyway I decided to buy one from the insurance auction and fix it with the help of my friend. I dont like stock colors and dont usually do the same thing thats been done 1 million times....There are good and bad things about buying a truck that was rolled in snow but feeling brave I went for it anyway. After picking it up for 6k, When it got here the first thing we checked was the frame and drivetrain and it was all perfect and there were no driving issues. I thought it may have had 16.5s with 38s but when it got here it was lifted 12.5 inches with 20 inch wheels and fairly new 40 inch tires!! The bad was that it looked like a piñata and bodywise was more work than it looked like from the pictures...Now that I was at the point of no return the only thing I can do is put it back together. I dont like making bondo sculptures so its getting all new OEM sheetmetal and the list of mods there after are
custom red paint, house of kolor clear coat with ghost flames on the rockers
custom S-250 Emblems (superman logo)
cutting and re forming the inner ends of the fenders where they usually get hammered in and make it look stock still.
full stereo dvd navigation system
05 grill and bumper
smoked tail lights
custom painted dash and interior pannels
power step bars
power tuner.....
we dont advertise so as it progresses and you like the work we do..if your in the northern Ca area and want custom work done or truck fixed if it ever ends up looking like mine.....
follow my progress
