Thank You.

It was an Honor and a Privilege to have had the Opportunity to serve our Country in the United States NAVY (SEABEES), From 1960 to 1982.

And even at the age of 63? If called upon? I would serve again, in any capacity asked of me.

God Bless This Great Nation and ALL who have Served and Protected her in the PAST.

AND, God Bless This Great Nation and ALL who are Serving and Protecting her NOW.

To all of my fellow Veterans, and the men, and women currently serving THANKS for all hard work, determination, and dedication. Often times people don't undertsand what sacrifices the man, woman, and their families go through when someone is deployed. For the sacrifices I say thanks the the husbands, wives, sons, daughters, and loved ones left behind. This shouldn't just be about the Veterans. It should be a day of recognizing what anyone connected to a member of the military does for this great country.

THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO.

AMEN !!! & +1 !!!

"Our High School" conducted its 27th Annual "Patriotic Show" @ Friday
nights football game...1000 folks on the field (student & teachers) from
the 2 area Jr. High & 1 High School

The H.S. Band invites area veterans & current active duty to join
them on the field in a tribute to our armed forced and those who
have given their lives for our freedom...Not since I was a kid
have *I* sung <w/ PRIDE> all of the songs for EACH branch of
the Armed Services...even now it makes me humble and tearful
knowing so many have given so much for my freedom, past,
present and future !

Our flag flys today as it does EVERY DAY (and night) !

Tomorrow we will line our side walks w/ additional flags as a reminder
to everyone how thankful and appreciative we are !

Yep, thanks to all you have served and fought for our freedom as a nation.

I would espcially like to thank my Uncle Roger who fought in Vietnam. He was wounded in combat and received 2 Purple Hearts and other medals too.

I served during the Vietnam war, but not in Vietnam. I lost some very close friends there, and had a younger brother and cousin come back injured. I think it is important for all young men to serve in one of the branches. The friendships and experiences, can never be equaled.
