Started out in Nov. asking questions about the truck in sig. Using your advice as of 3 weeks ago, have gauges installed (ISSPRO), cold air intake (S&B), 4" turbo-back exhaust (Magnaflow), JW towmaster trans, DP tuner (F5), 6.0 trans cooler, and new up pipes. INMO John Woods is the best willing to spend time with a diesel dummy and answer dumb questions all day, also explains why he does what he does to the trans and TC.

It is like I have a new truck, can't wait to hook up the 5th wheel and assault the mountains of Colorado. Also getting about 2MPG better, but just using 80E tune kinda, :sly and only let the smoke out once in a while.

Thanks Big Joe, and JLDickman, everybody should listen to you guys. :hail

Unreal what a few mods can do to wake up one of these trucks huh?

I'd still be driving old slow and poky if I hadn't found this site too.

congrats..next you will want a 38r ball bearing turbo with a set of single shot injectors...you think the truck is awake now....try that set up out... corse you will need a regulated return and a couple other smaller mod's first.. i just got my Adrenaline HPOP and im doing a complete fuel system with a sump and a fuel lab pump right now...i should have plenty of oil and fuel for the 500HP mark in the near future...

yeah nevrknow, didn't mind slow and pokey until trying to pull 8 mile 7% grade with 5th wheel on. Slow is not the right word.

Stoker-- been there done that with a gasser, spent more time under the hood than behind the wheel. What I was going for was something that could tow my 5er faster than a walk up hill, that will last for a 100,000 miles minimum. Can't race towing 18k anyway.
