Texas Rangers are playing!!!!!!

Don't care how bad they end up at the end of the season still a die hard Ranger fan (to many fond memories growing up and going to the games w/ my pop). Anyways it's BASEBALL SEASON AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and NASCAR is back as well........what a great time of the year.

i use to be somewhat of a Ranger's Fan. i went to high school with Rusty Greer, who played for the Ranger's for about 10 years. Then he had some injuries that caused him to have to retire.

he was a great hustle player, allways gave it everything he had.

he even signed some minor league baseball cards for me, before he went bigtime.

we start little league baseball in just over a month, cant wait.

I was feeling the same was about the Tigers, but hey coming from the worst to the world series in one year is not to shabby. I hope this year they take the world series. Shefeild is on the Tigers now.

Ol' Rusty was well liked here when he played for the Rangers. Hated to see him retire, darn injuries .

I think the Rangers opening day tickets almost sold out today. A guy at work wanted to go to the opening game on April 6th. He first called at 855 and was told to call back in 5 minutes. He tried online and found some upper reserve seats, but when he tried to buy them, the computer timed out so he had to start over. He was pretty pissed about it. Eventually all that was left was some SRO tickets for $15.00 apiece, and he said he wouldn't get them. He said he was going to try to find some on EBay. I was at their home opener in 2002, the guy who was the head of our group at work took about 35-40 of us to that game. Got to see VP Cheney throw out the first pitch.

People camped out over night at the Ball Park last night to get tickets.....how crazy is that?
