Well, the dealer claimed that the HPOP needed replaced as does one injector. So I pulled out the pump, but I do not see anything physically wrong with it. Is there any tests that can be done (out of engine) to determine if it is building enough pressure or not? I personally feel that the pump may be good, and that there is a leak or bad part elsewhere. ICP read 550PSI durring cranking. Truck is a crank no start.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thnx

500 pounds cranking is enough to let the truck start. Pump is good. There are other things that will keep the truck from starting, such as the cooling fan clutch not engaging on crank. The fan will not come on until the temps get hot enough, but the computer checks the resistance to make sure it is good. There are a few others...
