We got home last night after our trip to Texas and The Hill Country. Man is it GREEN! We even had RAIN! Great trip.

i wish i had known you were visiting, we have lots of Super duty folks out here,
and yes we have had tons of rain and lots of green growing
canyon lake area is very nice

Thanks boatr, but I did not have more than 4 hours 'free' time. We were visiting my inlaws and their kids and their kids (double). I have not been North of Dallas, but I would like to see.

Robert lives East of Dallas but not far. I am ready for the storms and big rain to go away for a little bit.

A lot of California is going to get some rain, but we will not be a part of that group, I don't think.

Here is is at 4:00pm and we are getting HEAVY rain. 0.50 inches in 20 minutes and it is still coming down. At best I figured we would get 0.10 inches. We need this rain!

Old west Texas ranchers say that when California is on fire.....Texas will get the rains. It has been true so far this year.

We need the rain to slow down a little around here. From last Friday May 8th tell Monday 11 my rain gage was over 5 in,
don't know how many hours it run over. It's another Friday night and it's raining again.
