I need the tech info that SpeedTracer by AutoEnginuity requires. This includes:
Curb weight
Gear ratio
Drag Coefficient
Frontal Area
Working gear and rear end ratios
Where do I get this info for my 06 F250 PSD? I'm interested in using this software. By the way, you guys that don't have AutoEnginuity should look into it. It's an awesome tool.

mine has been invaluable ! Ive used it to repair friends fords (and mazda's)
i keep meaning to see if i can reprogram my overhead display w/ mine (theres
a group heading for overhead display).

it even allows reprograming of PATS keys on certain manufacture brands !

check w/ itpdiesel.com or the autoenginuity forum off of their website...
im sure someone over there knows.

curb weight you can find the estimated ford weight at frd fleet
drag coefficient, measure your actual frontal area including tires and then dig out the old algebra book
and do a few calculations for varying speeds

bushpilot, what kind of diagnostic test can you perform with a 6.0? Most of the stuff I been able to find on AutoEnginuity has been for a 7.3. I was wondering about stuff like the injector test that the dealer performs, official vgt relearn process, etc. Can it be done? I'm seriously thinking about making this purchase.

flopster843....

the injector tests are available on the 6.0 as is an egr test...theyre
the only ones ive used....and i still say theres is no "official" vgt relearn
process/test.

even w/ the egr its a simple memory clear (including a clear of the
keep alive mem)...and then performing a key on engine off test...this
"learns" the default position of the egr (and i suspect the same happens
for the vgt solenoid).

even the cylinder contribution tests is available in the 6.0L

i know some dealer techs that were impressed...and indicated that
the autoenginuity software was better...and easier to use, than the
ford dealer tool.
