pstroke..you may want to check the front hubs and the bearings therein. In all of my checking about this same problem on my 03, i have had more than one powerstroke guru tell me that my front hubs and bearings are my problem. I haven't tried that fix yet..but it's coming:dunno

Frozen rotors

I recently replaced my brakes with Frozen Rotors Slotted and the Velvetouch pads also new calipers all the way around.
WOW what a difference. Well worth the money in my opinion.
After all it is probably the most important system on the truck.
Frozen rotors had great customer service and sell a good product.

Does anyone know why my 99 f250 2WD 7.3L truck's brakes seem to be pulsating when I hit the brakes. I thought it was due to bad rotors. First I took them off and took them to NAPA and had them turned and bought new pads. I put them back on and still had the problem. I have just put on brand new rotors and new pads and still have the same problem. I only have only done this to the front. I dont think the rears are an issue. Does anybody have any ideas what might be wrong?

yes, the rears can be an issue..
calipers sticking on the pins, rotors pitting up and in some cases shaling apart, rust building up under the clips and binding in the bridge...

I could go on, but you get the idea.

My calipers are rough and I will need to replace at least one. Who's are a good value, OEM, Napa, Autozone, etc? Also, if one is shot and one is just rusted up but functional is there much value to replacing it anyhow? The pins are especially bad, I guess salt sets in their during the winter and makes it a mess.

I would never change just one side. General rule of thumb is to change both sides at the same time. No help on a good source for calipers.

I use NAPA on my own stuff, lately at the shop we've been getting everything from O'Reilly's
