yeah, i think it's 1 1/2 lbs of fiberfill per square foot or airspace less speaker displacement.

Strokin, when u get all set up send us a SLP reading if you have the ability, along with your box airspace measurements. i'd like to know what you get out of it. i think my last reading was 128db

i don't know how to take the SPL. IIRC my box has 1.25 cu. ft. of airspace per sub... i need to check that though b/c i could very easily be wrong. i've made to many boxes lately!

heres a volume calculator. if ur box is too big, u can always put stuff in the inside to correct it instead of making another one.

ok, so i got close to 1.25 cu. ft. of air space per side. my box goes across the whole back behind my seat and has a divider in the middle of it. so i have plently of air space to run 12's and i may even need to use less air space. my 10's are runnin' great off the current air space i have! LoL

12" subs are the perfect size, they need 1.25 feet of air space per sub.

hey bushpilot bad news talk to my audio shop yesterday and they have no date on delivery for the w5's. They said we'll be lucky if they are out before december if not even later.
