I am working on a 96 E350 Powerstroke mini bus. When it came to me, it had a blown return line for the coolant, which i fixed that.It was 1 gallon low on oil, and some idiot put gasoline in it.SO i drained all 25 gallons of diesel and gas, changed the fuel filter. All it does is starts and dies , sometimes it will run for about 30 seconds.Hooked a scanner to it, no codes, injectors passed buzz test.Any ideas.. it has about 178,000 miles on it.

I would change the CPS for the start and die symptoms.. A gallon low on oil wont kill you, the injection system is operated by engine oil so if you are out of oil, the injectors will stop thusly stopping the engine, the gasoline in the fuel tank isn't good but if it wasn't run you'll be OK. If it was run you might have some scored injectors.
