Hey,

I have an 2004 F250 (110 amp?)and am having issues with my plow having enough power. I bought two new batteries (they were replaced last year, but better safe then sorry) and ive ordered a 160 HD large case alternator. Did I make the right decision or should I have gone with the 200? The guy said I shoulden't get more then I need because of the heat, and I think 160 amp should cut it for my power needs, did I make the right choice?

Cheers
Jeff

I upgraded to a 200 amp alternator in my '97 because I run on vegoil and my 12v heaters draw a lot of amps. I put in a second charge cable (alternator to positive). I never looked back.
