what's the stock horse power rating of a 2000 7.3l diesel?

I believe 99 was 235 and i think 2000 was 245 that is close even if I am wrong

flywheel numbers are on the EPA ID tag on the passenger's side valve cover to see what yours is for sure.

My 2K 6 speed ID tag sez: 235 BHP @ 2700 RPM.

But I think with the listed engine Mods.. It may be just a touch more better than that ?

More is "more better" fer sure. Kinda like money and certain parts of female anatomy, never can be to much!

Not sure if the 2000 and the 2002 had the same rating, but, I have a friend with a 2002 w/ auto tranny and the EPA tag says 250 @ 2600 RPM. My 2002 6 speed says 275 @ 2600 RPM.

I have heard the ZF's had 25 or 50 (I forget) more HP.....
