Ok, so the big gray beast has been dead for a month now & I'm sick of it!!! :rant

Dad says it's the cam position sensor .. Hubby says injector ... we just spent $550 on diagnostics & FICM rebuild. She pulls no codes ... sputters IF she starts... HELP!

Most recent start-up yielded a turn-over but no movement when in gear & throttled. I think my 3 year-old may have kicked the 4x outta whack though... :innocent lol

I need my other rig back -please if able to send ideas my way - I'd be much obliged!!!

My research found a recall on the '04 & '05 F250 Superduty 6.0's... any idea where I can find more info on it? I may be able to alleviate a ton of stress :dizzy if so.

Thanks for any help out there!!!

Starting just like always - wait for coil light to go off & then crank. Sometimes she turns and sometimes she doesn't.

We live in the PNW and while the temp is variable - it isn't enough to throw things out of whack weather wise. It's pretty much the same as it always has been.

things that should be checked....fuel pressure, FICM voltage(input and output), ICP pressure when cranking(needs 500 psi to start)....

what year truck? maintanance has been kept up(fuel filters, oil changes)?

FICM was repaired - was at 46.8 prior and when returned to us it was 48.2...... ICP was replaced - hubby did that a few months ago.... it's a 2004 and oil changes/maintenance kept up for the most part - needs the transmission serviced, otherwise all else is good?
Thinking everything at this point is pointing to the oil pump and fuel pressure not sure about. Not pulling any codes and dealership wasn't able to show any codes either after diagnostics. They said it was the FICM too - but evidently not after having that repaired.
