Well this afternoon I got under the truck to check for leaks and look at the restriction gauge.
My ball valve seems to be seeping VERY slightly where the barb fitting screws in, I used teflon paste on the threads too.
Maybe thats where I'm getting some of my air, oh a little air's back.
The restriction gauge showed 3 in. Hg when filter was first installed. When I checked it Thursday after the Bio fill and erratic FP gauge it read 5 in Hg. I didn't think anything of it. Well I checked it tonight and it was just over 10 in. Hg.
Called Bob to see what was normal restriction, 7pm Central, his wife answered while they were driving. She put me on speaker phone for Bob(driving.) I told him how I didn't have 200 miles on the filter with about 100 of that being half #2 and half B20. Told him my various guage readings and intervals. He said it's prolly got a clogged filter. Then I told him what my FP was doing and he said he's almost positive that it's the filter element. He wished he could get Bio there to do some testing to help all his customers with these questions as they come up, he didn't seem to optimistic though. I guess I'll change the filter in the morning, good thing I ordered a spare.
BTW, from the conversation with them, it sounded like they were "out." That's great customer service when you take your personal time to help a customer. Also, from the sounds of it, business is good and they don't get out much.
