Ok so I loose steering it seems. I will be going along and then the truck will pull to the right so I correct and then it darts to the left and so on. It doesn't do it all the time. Maybe once a day some times I get 3 or 4 days before it does this. Any ideas. I would take it in but I know what a mechanic will say if it is not doing at the time." it is ok now pay me for doing nothing". Lol

d00d, its basic basic troubleshooting.

if the truck is pulling to one side, you check things like steering, driveline, suspension and BRAKES. you posts in another thread are about something with the second brake circuit.

maybe you have a problem with your brakes? maybe a caliper is sticking? maybe a slide is not sliding.

or maybe perhaps the ABS system is gone wonkey?

Don't forget the wheel bearings either, if one is loose it can "steer" the truck with every bump. Loose tie rod ends or other steering components can do this as well. Get the front end checked out real good for loose parts, then have the alignment checked.
