I have a 2006 Ford F-250SD and I am trying to figure out how to remove the stock steering stabilizer so that I can install a dual stabilizer. Is their anyone out there that can help me out with this.

Just unbolt the shock that attaches from the tie-rod to the axle tube. This should not be hard at all.

There is a shaft that goes through the steering rod. I undid the bolt and tried to push it out, that did not work then I took a hammer to it and all the did mushroom out the end. I am at a stand still right now until I figure out another way to get it out.

Sometimes, if you hit the draglink itself around where the stud passes through will loosen it up and help it to come out.

You might also try putting something between the draglink and a solid frame part so that the draglink can not deflect when you hit the stud.
