my truck makess a squeek/squeal chirp sound at above 3000 rpm when shifting sometimes. could this be an IC hose leak? transmission shifts fine, new Ford torque convertor less than 5000 miles ago. turbo goiing bad? noise just started a couple days ago.

I used to have a similar problem right after I had my BTS tranny installed. As it turned out it was the rear tires chirping everytime the BTS tranny hit 2nd gear with my right foot to the floor.
I just had to learn to live with it.

My brother and I have the same problem, I think its the tensioner pulley or fan pulley making the noise. Sometimes when it gets real dusty it will squeal under load at high rpms. Just cool the motor off and give it a nice was with the hose and it should fix it.
