FWIW :dunno

I wrap the hinge pins with a turn of electrical tape, and occasionally spray a touch of belt dressing on the bump stops.

Seems to work.. No Squeaky ?

I used to work with a guy who had very sensitive hearing, and each time he'd hear a new squeak or rattle in his car, he'd do his best to try to find it. This was over 30 years ago and he could hear noises that I couldn't (I was in my early 20's then with much better hearing than now). My dad had a 1970 F-100 with a rattle in the front end. Several years later, we finally found it. It was a bolt on top of one of the Twin-I-Beam axles that wasn't completely tightened. Once we did that, the rattle stopped.
