spongy brakes, nosie steering

ok today on my way home from a trans flush/ switch to moble 1, my brakes are spongy with noise( not pads) and nosiy steering when turning, both sounds seem to come from power steering pump?

Are the brakes and power steering pump connected? how to fix???

Add fluid and run, to work out the air that has gotten into the steering fluid.
