Sound dampening

Anyone done it? I am looking for suggestions that won't break the bank. (Door seal mod complete.)

Dynamat inside door helps quite a bit too. Four door gets a little pricey but check ebay and deals pop up once in a while.

yeah on ebay you can get like 100 sq feet of the stuff for 68 bucks

i used hush mat...less prep work & cheaper than dynamat.

I did all my doors, rear wall & roof...the doors made the
biggest diff !

I did the roof to help reduce the heat more than anything.

c'mon over, help me pull all the seats and we can do the floor
on mine & ill help you apply the stuff to your truck in favor !

I am going with B-Quiet. I am planning on doing the floor, roof, doors, back of cab, and as much as the firewall as I can get. Bush: It be easier if you came here. I have already removed everything out of the interior with the exception of the dash and headliner (next weekend's project). It might be a long drive to Texas sitting on a 5 gallon bucket.

use some additional foam or carpet padding on the floor...i hear it helps too.

Thinkin bout buyin the hushmat and having it installed when i have this company install my cab lights. Since the headliner will already be down it should be the easiest.

I used Second Skin Audio, did the floor, doors, firewall. Very impressive sound dampening in the cab.

Bush give me a call when you are going to do this, I need a reason to buy some HushMat and install it on the back wall and the roof. Need something to quite down the exhaust.
