Anyone know if they make a sonnax or something similiar for a 2003 jeep. Is it as easy to install? Just took the hard top off and went out riding today, if shifts like a stocker. I want to install it in the jeep if it is as easy and cheap:burnit

thanks

Since I don't know what trans you have off the top of my head I'd say check www.bulkpart.com and see if they have a transgo kit for it. The valvebody parts are just a complicated as a sonnax kit but it's a more complete setup.

I know we looked for one for my brother's rubicon (03 I think) and we couldn't find a shift kit for it. He's perpetually complaining about the transmission's shift characteristics and the early shift into OD.

I couldn't find much of Sonnax' website mostly due to I don't know much about Jeeps:rolleyes: Check out Transgo for their offerings:sweet

I also read in a forum that you can take off some slack from the tv cable to help it shift abit better.

I think they are the same motor and tranny. Different diffs and ride height, My wifes is a Sahara. If I find one I will let you know.

I am getting spoiled on this site, I have tried to find a jeep site like this one but haven't yet. Most are modding rock crawlers or older ones. More suspension than motor. I think that you yank this 4.0 liter V6 and put in a 350 to start your mods:D

It's kinda embarassing to ask for jeep help on the superduty site, but I am sure there are some good sites, I need to keep looking:dunno

Thanks
