let me tell you our little road race to florida and back this week i heard the lastest from tim about 20 times, on xm, first few times i just sort of heard it but didnt listen
then around 3rd ot 4th time i listened to the words
I am not one to get chked up but DAYUM it is a tear jerker

with that i say

i guess one that really makes me think of my wife & kids would be:

"I'm Already There" by Lonestar (makes my eyes swell up)


One that has always grabbed me pretty bad and makes me think about my Dad is the one by Conway Twitty "That's My Job" althought my dad is still living and very healthy, i can hardly listen to that song. it just makes me think about him and what life would be without him.

And i guess one that really makes me think about all of my family would be the one by Alan Jackson "Remember When"

I'm sure there are others, but I cant think of them right now.


As far as military songs, the ones mentioned jerk on the ole heart strings too.

That song used to do it for me but IMO it got overused and while the words are still meaningful, his performance of those lyrics just doesn't have the same power it used to.
It still gets me......
