Here is how it went down...

It could have been worse!!

One of my neighbors, who is a very large person, went to the ATM machine at the credit union. He was driving a large SUV and was too high up to reach down to his cash when it came out of the machine. So he pulled forward slightly to open his door. The vehicle was still in gear with his foot on the brake. As he reached down and back to retrieve his cash, he lost his grip on the door and fell out. His seat belt was still on so he didn't fall totally out, but was hanging by the seat belt. Well, at this point, he obviously couldn't hold the brake and the truck started to roll forward. As it did, he began to slip out of the seat belt, but the belt buckle holding his pants snagged the seat belt. So the more he slipped out of the vehicle, the more he slipped out of his pants, undies and all. By the time the SUV hit the landscapping and stopped, he was almost totally out of the vehicle, getting dragged across the parking lot by his ankles with his pants, undies and ankles all caught in the seat belt.

BTW: the only injury was to his pride.

I think he quit going to that credit union after that.
