not pennies but dollars, running and making bio-diesel is a lot cheaper when diesel is 4.29 a gallon here. But I am probally going to keep my 08 because the lame dealer only wanted to give me 21,000 for my truck. Too much to lose to go for an 02. Just going to have to deal with it.
understood were ALL feelin' this pain...but i would look HARD at the
cost of brewing youre own...include the cost to pick up as well
as the electricity involved in heating & pumping it.
if you go the cheap route i think youd be hard pressed to brew
more than 50 gallons a week (via gravity feed/filtering).
the problem these days seems to be in the COLLECTION...rendering
companies are going after "scabs" that are taking the grease they
charge to haul off....and resturants are QUICKLY figuring out that
there are people willing to PAY to have their grease.
the other problem i see is in the local competition...ever diesel car/truck
owner is giving this consideration...and it could turn into a bidding
war or you could find yourself w/out a source if the resturant owner
lets others take it off his hands too.
