Well, the snake had a "pot belly", you could see the shape of the "eggs". Since they were solid (one was wood, the other was glass), they couldn't be digested. Kinda like having major constipation. Those who have been around chickens know the type of "eggs" - they're used as a method to train the young hens to lay eggs in a nest.
