I dont advocate leaving someone behind at a light, especially when i driving a 8700 pound dually.

However on the drive home last night, i had a nice looking 350 crew cab single wheel little truck with nice level lift, tailgated me all the way through the post, He was in a hurry i think :dunno , cant speed on post its a mandatory visit to a federal magistrate to make amends for a speeding ticket  plus some green backs in exchange for your freedom to operate said vehicle on post again.

however once off post he gunned it and what appeared to be a move to go around me in the left lane, smoked all to heck , thick black nasty smoke,
well i just washed the boss and didnt feel like being mosquitoed so i lay down some throttle, not all of it, just enough to stay ahead of him :innocent :sly
I was very polite and as he tried to get past i speeded up some more.
sort of weird, like reeling in a Bass.
but traffic caused us to back off and coast to the red light. as he coasted by i looked at the tailpipe, figuring to see a big 5" tip or giant exhaust, geuss what

it was stock :roflmao :roflmao :roflmao :roflmao
sure hope he wasnt running a chip, and that bullydog sticker was just for show :roflmao :roflmao it sure did SMOKE em
he didnt even look me in the eye as he went by, i was going to offer him a sdd decal :D :dunno

You can't get big horsepower with out letting her breathe. What was he thinking. You are a nice guy. I would put one of the stickers under his windsheild wiper if you see him again and put please refer to web site. HAHAHA That is just me though.

I'm sure he was running a chip and prolly a K&N drop in filter with the stock housing. Did you see any gauges? I always see guys with black soot on the paint and a stock tip. Sometimes gauges, usually not.

At least you didn't get any soot on the Boss.:sweet

BTW, I hate smoke!:D

Darn youngns. In the words of Gale Banks "Black smoke is Power seen, but not Felt." I think he needs to be lead in the right direction. :burnit :burnit

sounds like a good opportunity to practice your proselytizing skills Robert! Lead that poor misguided soul to the promised land.

I had a similar thing happen last week.

After leaving work, I noticed ahead of me there was a Super Duty, passing up some slower vehicles while blowing some very noticable smoke. I'm thinking "1 Super Duty + smoke = 1 Powerstroke on steroids", so I speed up a tad for a closer look.

I caught up to the guy (and his girlfriend) at the next light and saw he had a pair of gauges on the A pillar. He gave me an eyeballing as I did him. The light turned green and the combo of my Stage 1 single shots, DP-Tuner PCM and my 4" MBRP system proved to be far too much for him to match.:burnit At the next light, he pulled up next to me, gave me a big grin, a nod and a :sweet . He said he had a superchips programmer and I told him about my Beans Stage 1's and 80 HP DP-Tuner PCM. He then realized he was outclassed but threw down the gauntlet when the light went green. I spotted him about one length and proceeded to fog his ass all over again:roflmao

At the next light, he jokingly asked me if he could hold my jacket while I kissed his girl friend. I guessed I hurt his sense of masculinity in front of his lady two too many times. :roflmao :roflmao
