autozone has motorcraft glowplugs for the cheapest price just under 10 each.

Do not use autolite plugs.

at 80 a GPR from the dealer the stancor contactor is definately worth the effort to order.

I do not think you have a gp problem if you start right up at 10° the smoke at startup until it's warm is normal.

wonder if the GP cycle is not working after startup and helping to warm the CC? Does you amp gauge stay low for a few miniutes after cold startup or is it in the middle like normal operation? Dy any chance do you have a pyrometer? if so what temp is the exhaust when the engine is warming up? I think wet stacking can occur below 250 deg this is unburnt fuel in the exhaust and can cause blue smoke. probly not a big deal mine does it a little bit too.

He's Right. Go to AutoZone. I just got some Motorcraft Glow plugs from them for $8.99/plug
