I have a buddy with a 2005 F350 CC PSD. He wants to buy slotted rotors for both the front and back of the truck. He also needs a good set of pads.

Where is a good source for these???

He lost his X and TT last year in a roll over and wants to be extra safe.

Slotted rotors will be hard to find for a Super Duty. Drilled rotors will be easier to find and cheaper. They accomplish the same thing, cooler rotor temperatures. I don't have any idea where to look, but you might google "slotted rotors" and see what you can find.

I don't know about slotted rotors but as far as the lost X and TT OUCH....... He is lucky to be alive. There is a X down at the local dealer with only half that damage and the driver is no longer with us. The travel trailer looks about like every other one I have ever seen in a wreck, they don't hold up very well.

Check out ART's offerings, they are a popular choice for the heavy Excursions:sweet

I had the worst experience with ART's (frozen slotted) rotors. First set warped within a month. Dean sent me a free replacement. Second set warped within a year. Went back to stock rotors and haven't had a problem since.

Two years with not one complaint on my ART's. They are working great and I highly recommend them. Wonder if he just got some bad ones??????
