Slipping

don't know if this helps. i was told that the 450 and 550 clutchs are more heavy duty then the 250 and 350. i went threw 4 clutch's in a month and a pressure plate explosion. we finally took it to a different shop that told us that they put a 250 clutch kit in. they put the right clutch in and it's lasted for 3 years and about 60k miles so far and seems like it's brand new.

Mine started slipping after some engine mod's. I got a heavy duty clutch from Southbend and love it.....slipping is a thing of the past. Much heavier duty than OEM and better than a CenterForce for about the same price.
