Let us know how your installation goes, Bill. I am curious about the install of the 5 LNB dish.

I won't have the 5LNB slimline till next Weds so I put up an extra single LNB antenna I had so at least I could get the HR21's software updated and settings dialed in.:sweet

There's an informative video from Solid Signal on how to install the 5LNB sidecar which in essence is the pre slimline model.

The install of the slimline dish went well although it was 95 degrees and sweating buckets I got it done. :clap:

Boy the tuning that has to be done for 5 satellites is pretty extensive,I did it all with an old KU band swing meter although the pro's recommend a newer digital model with does both KA and KU band with 22khz tone.

The picture quality of the HD's on Directv are excellent,I'd almost want to say has a slight edge over Dish in that area.
