i'm looking at purchasing the 5" RSK lift with the 4.5" rear bracket. i currently have 4" blocks so i'll be adding the 5" to the truck. I'll need shocks but im not sure how to shocks are sized for lifts. would i be looing for a 9" lift shock?

You don't have 4" block on the front do you?

Most shock manufactures that build shocks for lifted vehicles list the right shock for the given amount of lift.

So right now you are stock including the stock 4" blocks in the rear.

With this lift from Sky you will be 5" over stock in the front and 4.5" over stock in the rear giving you a level stance so you will need shocks for a 5" lift.

hmmm, i feel closure. thanks.

now, here's what i read about the RSK: "This kit alone will allow 37x13.5 tires on your F-350. This kit will need longer shocks, brake lines, and a pitman arm. Combine with 6 inch spring to clear 42x15 tires."

"Spring" what are they talking about? does this lift it an additional 6" and if so is it for the front and the back? am i missing somethng or just way out of the loop?

Yes 6" springs will lift it an additional 6". The springs they speak of have 6" more arch than your stock springs.

Grrr, "springs" i ilterally lost my mind and hit a mental wall that would only allow me to see coil springs making leaf springs non existant.

Thank you for the reality check and the slap in the face. :hail
