Well it has been going on for a while but only everyonce in a while. It now has around 147k miles on it. It's the 6 spd manual. I let it warm up before I take it out. It also has the recomended trans oil. I think that sometimes when I put the clutch in it's not grabbing all the way because it'll make this slight grind/clicking sound lol it's annoying and sometimes if I don't have a good grip on the stick it'll like jump back out of gear like when i'm just cruising around lol. it's not really funny but it sucks. Idk any suggestions? i hope it's not major

thanks everyone

Any slight grinding when you shift is not really anything to worry about if it happens occasionally. It just means that the syncro didn't have enough time for everything to line up perfectly before you jammed it into gear. If it starts doing it a lot, there may be a chance you are losing something in your clutch system (ie, clutch isn't fully disengaging for some reason, which could be a million different things).

It jumping out of gear is also not atypical of a ZF tranny. This is harder than hell on the gears if you are under load when it happens. If you are not under load, and it slips out, then it isn't a huge deal. This usually happens when the gear is not fully engaged. You really have to make sure it is solidly in gear when you shift. I'll bet if you start focusing on holding a little pressure on the stick as you let ou the clutch and roll ino the throttle, you'll feel it truly engage, whereas before it was only half-a$$ engaged.

If it is happening a lot, and you are getting it as far into gear as you can, you may have a weak or bent shifter fork, since mine did this to me quite a bit when my clutch was headed south.

Which is my next point. Have you ever replaced the clutch? The release arm? How many miles do you have on the current setup? I had lots of the same troubles you are having right before my release arm broke in half.

If you are driving one day, and you push in the clutch pedal, and you get a buzzing noise and vibration when you push in the clutch pedal, then you have less than 5 or 6 clutch uses left. Turn around, go home as quickly as possible, use the clutch as little as possible, and pray like heck it doesn't give out before you make it. It is what happened to me...

haha nice story.. well it sucks that it happened but yea... I have around 160k miles and i bought it w/ 125k on it. So i'm not really sure. It never happens under load just cruising around as it is my daily driver. I think i'm just half assing it but it hasn't done it for a while now and it only happened like 2 or 3 times. No buzzing or severe grinding sound though :) Actually about 15 k ago I took it in because the clutch was engaging/disengaging w/ the pedal only half engaged so they replaced all of the clutch parts in the cab by the pedal or something like that. supposevly it was a recall thingy idk. But our mechanic at work thinks it's just the thick oil recomended b/c he has no idea so that's his reason. I think the clutch is going south slowly but I have no idea haha, i guess i'll just break down and have my brother-in-law come and pick me up haha.. Thanks for the advice and we'll see how she goes :)
