Anyone know of a good aftermarket shift boot that would work in a '99 F250 with the ZF6? Mine is no good, the plastic is all broken and so is parts of the internal rubber.

I don't know that I want another factory part that is just going to break and really not have a good fit/finish to it.

Thanks,

Ryan

IMO the factory boot probably is the best you can find. You got seven years out of the stocker. OEM should fit right in with no problems.

Well Cool, I just couldn't tell if it was a true good fit for the truck since it's always been broken since I got it. Yeah it has survived this long I guess I just need to go and get a new one. :)

Since you're going to be in that area, might as well install a short-throw shifter. Best upgrade I ever done.

Oh yeah? Where did you get it? I never use the clutch except to start out so I don't know how that would work for me. :)
