I was talking to my grandmother and she told me she was going to be 100 years old 12/25/11. The president send her a card for hitting 100. I wont tell you what she said about that...LOL I was joking with my grandmother and said I figured you would have passed sometime ago after Pop. She said she did the devil sent her back, he was afraid of her and God did not know what to do with her. Her mind is so sharp so is her tungue...

100 is a long time to live. Sounds lik you have a funny grandma!

My great grandma passed away in 2007, at 103. She'd had enough by then. She told us herself, a year before, that she was ready. Makes you wonder how long we'll be living in 100 years time...

My Gramma lived to the age of 98, sharp as a tack.. Outlived 3 Grampa's and after them... an untold number of Man Friends (she called'm). Thankfully, she passed on quietly in her sleep.. But WOW, the stories she could tell, all that she saw and witnessed.. from 1900 to 1998. She was the youngest of 10.. and Man, the stories They could tell.. when I was a Pup..

Good Memories. We need to Cherish the time we have with our Elders. I miss Her. (and my 3 Grampa's ;))

Families were so much bigger back then. My great grandma was one of 6. Which isn't that amazing now, but not many people have that many kids anymore.
My mum is from a big family, youngest of 9, the oldest was 16 years older.

My great grandma was mid 90's when she left us. I miss her, such a small woman. She had a witty attitude and was so sharp. i loved all her stories. Times were so simpler back then.
