i have a question regarding a wheel shake that is from the back driver side wheel. i'm not sure exactly what it is from but i do know that it is not the wheel or the tire because i have rotated the tires and wheels and it did not change anything. i have been told several things "its a bad bearing", "the tire is out of round", "the wheel is bent". i wanted to know if anyone had any idea's as to what it could be and what i would need to do to fix it.

I would jack up the rear end and put it on jack stands (good ones) and spin the tire/wheels and look at them. That will tell you if the wheel/tire is out of round.

If you rotated tires and nothing changed that rules out wheels and tires I would look into axle maybe bent I do doubt it though, could be a bearing but it would be howling, I would suspect more likely drive line, u joint or such. HTHs

I can't remember what years they had the problem, but some of these trucks developed a "harmonic" vibration... the cure was to put this immense damper weight on the frame near the back bumper.. it did kinda work on some of them...
