my f450 seems to hunt for the ruts in the road alot. I makes the truck wobble back and forth. Sometimes its suttle and some times I feel that I am on the verge of loosing it because it ossilates and incresses. It is like the back is hunting for rut and so is front but are out of time with each other. Any sujestions, is this common with the wide track front end? Also the constant wobble causes you head to move back and forth and sets of migraine headakes.

Mine does the same thing. I wrote it off to the tires. The F-450 comes with Load Range G tires. I have Continentals and the edge from the tire surface to sidewall is a very sharp edge. I think this edge catches the ruts in the road and throws the vehicle rather than ride over the rut. My car has very rounded edges and rides fine. Thus I decided (not very scientifically :dunno ) that the tires are the culprit.

I have BFG All Terrain tires on mine and it does that as well. I brought it in to get the tires balanced again and there was no difference in the ride. I cannot believe the tires cause this much vibration. I have the same tires on my suzuki and there is no vibration what so ever. Any suggestions?

are you talking about being sucked into truck ruts? there is no fix for those except new pavement.

if you have a vibration, there is plenty of things that could cause it. brakes, suspension, steering,............give us some more detail and im sure we can help you out better.:)

Ain't none of my business but, I have seen several posts on several sites about F-450's wandering and not tracking correctly.. Does this sound like your problem?

that is not what i am experiencing. my truck tracks just fine. when the tire hits a rut i the road it gets thrown one way of the other. :rant i wish there was a way for me to know which way it would be thrown so i could prepare for it.
