I just purchased my first diesel truck (2002 w/ the 7.3L). I attempted to do my service the old fashioned way by dropping the pan. I was going to drain the fluid out of my torque converter but found that it did not have a drain (my '01 Super Duty w/ the V10 had a drain valve on the converter). Is it typical for these diesels not to have a drain hole on the converter?
