Was One Tower Shorter Than The Other?

I heard someone say the other day that one of the towers was shorter than the other because of the '93 bombing. I don't see how that one could have "shrunk" in height without falling completely down. I did some research and found that they both were 110 stories and 1350 ft tall. Lots of the pictures seem to indicate that one tower was shorter than the other, but that could have been due to the camera angle. Any thoughts?

1 WTC was 1368" high and had a 360 foot TV antenna on it and was 110 stories, 2 WTC was 1362 feet high and had no antenna, though both towers were capable of carrying broadcast equip.

Both towers were 208'x208' square.

The difference in height between the two towers was because of a Port Authority request to have two floors, the 43rd and the 67th, in 1 WTC raised, the lower of the taller floors being a cafeteria for PANY workers. 2 WTC did not need these facilities, so it remained 1,362 feet.

I'm sorry I have never heard of such a thing as above, but in all seriousness concerning 9/11 I was stunned Monday morning.
I put a flag on my truck and wrote the words "Have you Forgotten" (Darell Worley song) on my rear window and off to school and work I went. I didn't see ONE other window FLAG on a car or truck. And I got looked at like the odd ball. (Side note: last year one of my foriegn classmates asked me "Forgotten what?") The Mavericks make the play-offs and it is a sea of blue /green little flags flapping, the Cowboys have a decent season and gray and blue window flags, same with the Dallas Stars. Window flags and bumper stickers all over the place. But..........lose 3000 American lives and countless others since then and not a DAMN sign of recognition to those who died 5 years ago,or what this country went through, just business as usual. We really have forgotten.-mad
That is all I can say.

Just has to be in the larger cities where you see apathy about 9/11. Not here.

Every firehouse had a flag flying from their ladder truck. The trucks themselves were hung with black bunting. Flags were flying at half-staff in public and private buildings throughout Northwest Florida.

Let's not forget those who had to deal with the aftermath of 9/11 up close and personal. My sister is a registered nurse and a disaster relief worker, and was assigned to go there hours after the incident. Five years later she still has nightmares from the horror of it all. Hopefully she won't develop some of the physical ailments that are beginning to affect the workers at Ground Zero.

911 "Healing Field" Memorial in Jerome, Idaho

I kept meaning to share this with you guys, but have just been swamped and barely got the photos uploaded.

Healing Field

This is the "Healing Field" memorial that we had here in Jerome on the 11th of September. It is at a place called Crossroads Point. There is a flag for each person killed on the 11th in the field (3000+ flags). There is also a permanent memorial in the form of a 30'x50' Flag on a 157' tall pole. The Honor guard from Mountain Home Air Force Base was there and raised the flag on the pole. It had not been raised yet and was actually folded in a triangle. They took it to half mast, tried to get it full height, but it got stuck. They eventually got it fixed and raised it to full height before lowering it as you are supposed to.

It is really a site to see.

I'm going to try and get back there and get some more pics without all the people.

Just wanted you all to see it.
