Seperation?

I have found a few stations around me that carry b11 for the same as ulsd or even a couple of cents cheaper. I was once told that if bio sat for any length of time that it would seperate. Is this true or an old wives tale? Does the percantage of bio matter with this "theory". It would be nice to get fuel without adding tcw3 (people look at me funny when i put oil in the gas tank ) and also support american farmers at the same time...Thanks

No -- bio will not separate, no matter what the percentage. Now, I bet if you left it undisturbed 50/50 for YEARS, you might see some separation, but under normal everyday circumstances, you won't have any separation.

I think CHP had a spreadsheet that listed the lubricating properties of several additives, biodiesel was by far the best if I remember correctly

BB- you are correct the sheet showed b2 to be the best lubricant by far... I guess its time to run the b11! I was just wondering about my misinformation...Thanks for clearing it up!!
