I'm getting screwy readings on the fuel gauge of my 96 7.3. Some times gaiuge shows 3/4 when tank is full or needle moves to the exteme right side and the doesn't move until I have about 70 or 80 milesd using that tank. Not a real problem because I just set the trip meter to 0 when I fill-up, I know how may mies and can travel whether I am towing my travel trailer or not.
