I picked up the truck tonight and all I can say is WOW...... I wish I could type more but it's hard to see the keyboard when you are looking past a sh** eating grin. Thanks everyone for the warm welcome and I do have a few questions that I'll post once I get my feet back on the ground.

First order of business is guages so I'm open to any advice on those, I.E. analog or electronic. OBDII or the old way of drilling and plumbing. So much to learn but the power, Oh Lord, blows my little 6.5 into the bushes.

Cheers all

Congratsulations on your new truck. I still know the "smile" and still get it. I would use electric gauges as they are easier to hookup with all of the plumbing going on around everything. The actual gauge is your choice, I have Autometer gauges.

look around at the sponsors for your guages...theres several
choices...Trans, EGT & BOOST (if you want something more accurate than
the factory one on your 05) will all be mechanical...

consider adding a coolant filter <recently discussed>

and then id consider adding aux reverse lights under the bumper...
even if you have a backup alarm theyre helpful
