Ok there has to be a way to do this, however, does anyone know if I can deactivate the seatbelt reminder chime??? The vehicle is a 2007 F250. On the road I do wear a belt, however, when in the dunes I do not due to the belt locking up. Thanks in advance for the help!

Under the seat there are 2 plugs. One for the power seat, the other is for the seatbelt reminder. I dont remember which is which. You have a 50/50 chance. If the power seat don't work, plug it back in and unplug the other one. I have done my last 3 S/D's. I wear my seat belt to, but there are times I dont and the chime gets on my last nerve.

Does unplugging the seat belt indicator disable the air bag system? After doing mine the passenger side deactivation switch doesn't change the light. It always says it's off.-popcorn

I found the deactivation instructions in my owners manual. No need to disconnect anything, just a series of actions you have to do.

Thanks :)

If you are lucky enough to get it to work. I have tried several times, and I followed the instructions to the letter.
