SD front leaf springs

Has anyone swapped out front leafs out of a v8 SD into a diesel SD?:hail Cause i'm looking to lower it 3" and looking for any ideas that will work for leaf springs i know there is other fabriction to be done but if it works or not what will i be running into?:thanks :thumbs

i havent done it, but as long as it isnt an 05 i THINK you should be okay, i know the only big difference from a triton and a PSD is the engine in it, other then that it's just you're pedals, you'll notice how on the PSD it'll GO with half throttle, on a triton you gotta stomp it into the floorboards

I dont think the V8 Springs are rated to handle the 7.3 weight. They are different, in the weight aspect, other then that they will bolt right up. What are you attempting to do?

The Diesel powered trucks will rest in more than the lighter V8 trucks but not by much but maybe 25%
