Hey everyone!

New to this site but I have some feedback on the SCT tune by Tadd@elite-diesel.

I have a 2005 Ford CC F350 DRW and just installed the SCT INSANE tune today. I haven't tried out the other ones yet but all I can say is HOLY SH*T!!!!!!!

Just to give you an idea. I was at a stop light next to a 97' LT1 camaro (low 14 second car all day) I gave him a puff at the light to piss him off and started whacking the throttle to get him to race. So I start spooling the turbo, I can see the other light turn yellow so I get 60% into the throttle with my foot buried on the brake. The light goes green, I leave the light @ 30lbs. of boost in 4wd slightly spinning all 6 tires through the intersection leaving the camaro 10+ cars back.

We also did a 30mph punch up to 80mph and I put 2 cars on him.

This truck is bone stock otherwise!!

SCT is the only way to go!!!

great feedback, but i would get some gauges installed on that puppy.

exhaust would be a great idea to, to move all that hot exhaust outta there.

i will soon have my SCT tuner from Tadd next week, probably. cant wait to get it.

The gauges, exhaust, and intake are on the way. I wasn't in it more than 8-10 seconds.

I am just blown away by the amount of power that was gained for the money.

It's just a completely different truck now. :thumbs

I went with the the "Tow" file, I tow a 20,000lb. gooseneck trailer and didn't want to get too crazy with the tune. Also the "High Power" and the "insanity" tune.

I am just going to leave the Insanity tune in all the time. I bet this truck will 60ft. 1.6XX in 4WD.

It's so good I feel like I under-paid!!! That is definately a first.

cool, i do alot of towing too, but i would be careful towing in the insanity file, things could get ugly towing a heavy load like 20k, with 150 extra horses.

might melt something :dunno

Sounds like fun, but presumed you HAD gauges since you were leaving at 30 lbs of boost ??? :)

Transporter, it sounds like a lot of fun. Keep us posted on the durability of your truck with this mod. I want a get an SCT for my F350 however, I'm still a little "gun shy" with only 2300 miles on the odometer....afraid of expensive repairs or modifications to my Torqshift tranny.

My future plans are AFE filter, SCT, and an Exhaust. I'll be curious how yours is doing. In the meantime, have fun!!!

i can help ya out with some tranny questions. DO NOT CONTINUE TO DO 4WD LAUNCHES REPEATEDLY, i kept doin 'em over and over, and would do them at 15 to 20lbs. of boost, and then romp on it.

one day, about 2 months ago, the truck decided to sit still when i took my foot of the brake.

3310.88 later, i have a brand new torque shift tranny.
