just wondering some opinions. or should i bite the bullet and get an exhaust.

also, how much more power would i get with a 4inch exhaust compared to the stocker with the extremem tune.

Gauges???

I hope so!

I straight piped my exhaust since the muffler builds so much heat by not letting the air out.

Ill get a exhaust at some point but for now That money for a exhaust will go to a regulated fuel spully before getting a Exhaust when straight piped seems to work just fine.

Yeah i have egt gauge on the way. I've had the SCT for a while but never run the extreme tune.

I just hope an exhaust makes a difference with the extreme tune. i'd hate to spend 500-800 bucks just for lower egt's--which i do know is important--- but hey i like to feel a difference:burnit

i searched and searched and couldn't find any dyno charts before and after stock vs. aftermarket exhaust.

thanks again,

There is no reason you should have to spend that much on exhaust. What year/model is your truck? I paid under 500 for 4" turbo back including new intake.

You will notice a difference in power. Your egt's will be lower also. I run a 4 in and when towing in the tow or extreme mode I do have to watch my egt's because they can go over the limits. I would defiantly go with a bigger exhaust if you are going to be running an extreme mode. Also you should get a better intake filter system that breaths better.
