Scared of 6.o !!!!

I am about to drop 30k on a 06 CC f350 lariat with 27k miles. I am a little nervous about some of the issues with the 6.0. I already had a Dodge Cummins with the VP44 pump (lots of problems) and I really want to get back into a diesel, just really apprehensiveI will have a car fax and an oasis on monday. So talk me into getting a Super Duty!

That sounds like a lot of money for an 06 even if its got low miles, i would keep shopping its a buyers market right now there are a lot of good deals out there

X2! its a buyers market.

even though it has 27k miles, its an 06 and your warranty will be up in a year. Assuming that its a dealer, IF they threw in the 7yr/100 for no cost, it might be tempting.

x4... that is wayyyyyyyyy tooo much money for right now.... when diesel prices were around 4.50 I bought my 05 lariat with 20,000 miles for 23,000.... so like they others said.. shop around.. its a buyers market...

as far as the truck goes.... if you find one with that kind of mileage and its an 06 then you'll still have a little of the 5yr/100,000mile warrenty.. maitence is the key.. keep the oil changed on schedule and the filters... and take care of the truck and you won't have any problems.. good luck..

I have had my '04 for two years now and have had no more problems with it than any other vehicle I have had. Which have been all gasoline engines, by the way. Everybody that has driven my truck loves it also. I have not made any performance mods to it.

X2 on the maintenance! There are several items that you can add: coolant filter, oil bypass filter, etc. that will extend the life also. I use full synthetic oil in mine. I know there are several members that do not think it is worth the extra expense but I think in the long run it will only be beneficial.

Good luck shopping and do not be worried about buying a Super Duty!!!

30k is the going price on long Island everything I look at is 30-36k with more miles. this truck is like new.06 crew Lariat 8' bed leather rhino liner the only thing it doesn't have is the moon roof.

my 6.0 was a charm except for the HPOP qd fitting

bama could go pick one up in alabama or texas and i bet you still be out less money and get a NON SALTED truck
