Friday afternoon, I saw my old 2002 Diesel for the first time since trading it in October 2009. It was pulling out onto a highway, and I recognized it first by the grille guard, then the wheels, but the final "verification" was a small dent just ahead of the left rear bumper where a metal fence post bounced off the bumper into the fender. It sure looked good.

I sold my 97 to a local kid. So I hear/see it all the time. I love my 06 KR, but really miss my 97. Still looks as good as the day I sold it.

Yes, we get attached to our vehicles that we really like. Heck, I even miss the '51 Chevy pickup my grandfather had when I was a kid. My mistake was not telling him that I would like to have it, and he sold it to a young guy in the community who later got drunk and wrecked it.

He bought in early '52 just before I was born and sold it in '71 with only 78,000 miles on it.
